Cathal Ó Bric has been training for these last few months for the 2017 Dublin Marathon.

He is raising awareness of the valuable work of Navan Meals on Wheels in providing 90 meals on a daily basis for the housebound and elderly in the parish.

If you are attending the Marathon on Sunday, please encourage Cathal along the route! Sponsorship cards are available to sign in the Meals on Wheels office or in the Parish office.

Sgt Brian Dineen held a gathering on Shrove Tuesday 29 February to mark his departure from Navan after six years in local Community Policing.

The staff at Meals on Wheels greatly appreciate Brian’s cheerful approach to building community relations and supporting the elderly and the housebound. €380 was raised during Brian’s farewell gathering. We wish Brian well as he begins to take up a role soon in the Garda Dog Unit.
