(Morning Prayer at 7:50am) 

9:30am Mass with a congregation in St Mary’s resumes followed by the Rosary. (Morning Prayer at 9:20) 

7:30pm Mass with a congregation in St Oliver’s resumes. (Evening Prayer at 7:20pm) 

Eucharistic Adoration in St Mary’s continues every day from 2pm – 7pm. (5pm on Saturdays).

As priests, parishioners, school communities and friends we are asking all parents and godparents to continue rehearsing the prayers of the Mass with the candidates from their Grow in Love books or their Prayerbooks.

The 52nd International Eucharistic Congress which was scheduled for September 2020 in Budapest has been delayed until September 2021.
We pray all our brothers and sisters around the world whose celebrations of faith have been cancelled, scaled back or postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dear parishioners,

This weekend we will carry in prayer the families and friends of all who have died on the Roads of our country.

Next Monday – Thursday the primary school chaplains will celebrate Mass at 7:30pm for their school communities. The rota is printed below.

Novena for the Holy Souls

Our Novena for the Holy Souls began on Sunday 25 October and continues until 2 November. The prayers and the litany for the Holy Souls is provided below and is available in both churches of the parish.

Schedule of devotions:

  • Sunday 25 October – Evening Prayer & Benediction at 7:30pm.
  • Monday – Friday 30 October – Mass at 7:30pm.
  • Saturday 31 October Mass at 7:00pm.
  • Sunday 1 November Evening Prayer & Benediction at 7:30pm.
  • Monday 2 November – Mass at 7:30pm.

All ceremonies and Masses without a congregation but can be viewed by livestream at www.navanparish.ie/livestream.

Candles can be purchased at the Parish Shop and placed at the altar for use at the Sacred Heart altar during afternoon adoration, and at St Joseph’s altar to honour him as Patron of a Happy Death.
