Navan consists of five medieval parishes – Athlumney, Cannistown, Donaghmore, Dunmoe and Navan. The two main churches of the parish are St Mary’s (opened in 1839) and St Oliver’s (opened in 1977).

St Anne’s Chapel was refurbished in 2007 and Our Lady’s Hospital Chapel was renovated in 2016.

The parish webcam broadcasts ceremonies from St Mary’s.
It also permits online visitors to connect with the parishioners in the Adoration Chapel.

The Sacrament of Confession is celebrated every Saturday from 12:00noon until 1:00pm and also after the 10:00am Mass on the Thursday before the First Friday of the month.
